The Torah School of Greater Washington (TSGW) is seeking 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Teachers for both ELA (Reading, Writing, and Social Studies) and Math/Science for the 2023-2024 School Year.
This position could be Full-Time (9:00-3:45) or part-time (Mornings 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM or Afternoons 12:30 PM -3:45PM), as fits your schedule.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Plan, develop, and conduct lessons for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet individual students' needs and interests.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible.
• Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, and social development. Communicate regularly with parents, Resource staff, and Administration regarding students' progress.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree Required ; Master's degree in education (e.g. elementary, special education, etc.) a plus.
• 2 or more years of classroom teaching experience, in an Elementary/Middle School setting Required.
• Demonstrated excellent classroom management skills
• Demonstrated creativity and flexibility
